Ausangate Trek 4D/3N

DAY 1: UPIS COMMUNITY – UPIS CAMPSITE – WAYNA AUSANGATE
We pick you up very early from your hotel to take you to the starting point, which will be the UPIS community, at this point we will meet our trekking team then we will go to our camping place, we will have our lunch and enjoy an impressive view of the AUSANGATE mountain and its surroundings.
In the afternoon, we will continue with a hike to WAYNA AUSANGATE where we will be able to appreciate animals of the puna such as llamas, alpacas, then we will return to our camp and spend the night.

DAY 2: UPIS CAMP | ARAPA PASS – HATUN PUKAQOCHA
After breakfast, we will start our hike through impressive landscapes, we will pass by the AUSANGATE snow-capped mountain and if we are very lucky we will see a condor. We will learn more about the wildlife of the region with the expertise of our guide.
We head to our campsite for a nutritious lunch, in the afternoon you will have plenty of time to relax and explore, walk around the lakes and take lots of pictures. In the evening we will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night.

DAY 3: HATUN PUKAQOCHA PASO | PUKA PASO – ANANTAPATA – WARMISAYA – SURINEQOCHA (sunset hike to Rainbow Mountain)
We will wake up early to start the day’s trek, we will have very impressive views of the glaciers and valleys. Soon we will find ourselves in front of the AUSANGATE mountain and right in front of it we will appreciate the RAINBOW MOUNTAIN and all its colors will start to appear. We will stop in ANANTAPATA to enjoy our lunch.
In the afternoon we will continue ascending for 2 hours to an impressive viewpoint with an extensive valley. Then we will head to the camp and spend the night.

DAY 4: SURINEQOCHA | RAINBOW MOUNTAIN (sunrise hike) – RED VALLEY – LLACTOC – CUSCO
After breakfast, we will go to the RAINBOW MOUNTAIN to enjoy the place in all its splendor. Then we will go to the RED VALLEY that will leave us impressed.
We will walk to our lunch place, then we will take our transportation to return to CUSCO.
