Salkantay trekking 4D/3N

DAY 1: CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – HUMANTAY LAKE – SORAYPAMPA
Around 4:30 a.m., your guide will pick you up from your hotel. We will have a 3 hour trip to the town of MOLLEPATA, located at 3850 meters above sea level, in this beautiful town we will enjoy breakfast.
Then we will continue our journey for 1 hour to CHALLACANCHA, where we start with the hike, at this point we meet with our staff who will organize the camping equipment. Around 10:00 a.m. we begin our adventure, we will walk approximately 3 hours to SORAYPAMPA place where we will have our lunch and spend the night. After a well deserved rest we will visit the HUMANTAY LAKE and we will also be able to admire the impressive views of the Andes mountain range, after taking pictures we will return to our campsite where we will enjoy our dinner.

DAY 2: SORAYPAMPA – SALKANTAY PASS – COLPAPAMPA
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will begin our trek from SORAYPAMPA, we will ascend for 3 hours to the highest point of the ABRA SALKANTAY, from this point we can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains, snowy SALKANTAY, HUMANTAY, TUCARHUAY and PUMASILLO. Continuing we will pass by SALKANTAYPAMPA and SOYROCOCHA, we will know a beautiful small lake and then begin our descent to HUARACHMACHHAY for 3 hours approximately. We will have lunch and continue our descent for 3 hours until we reach our campsite in COLPAPAMPA where we will spend the night.

DAY 3: COLCAPAMPA – SAHUAYACO BEACH – HYDROELECTRIC PLANT – AGUAS CALIENTES
We start our day with a comforting breakfast, this day we will walk for 5 hours approximately through the Peruvian jungle, during our walk we will be able to appreciate several coffee plantations, orchids and a great variety of plants used in traditional medicine. We will arrive at PLAYA SAHUAYACO where we will have lunch and rest for a while, then we will take our transportation to HIDROELÉCTRICA. You will take a tourist train to go to AGUAS CALIENTES, when you arrive to the town we will wait for you and we will go to the selected hotel and in the evening we will enjoy a delicious dinner in a local restaurant.

DAY 4 : AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Our most awaited day, we will wake up early to go to our impressive wonder of the world MACHU PICCHU. We will take the bus and travel for 25 minutes to reach the entrance, we will have a guided tour of its main sectors, after the guided tour we will have some free time to take pictures.
We will return to the town of AGUAS CALIENTES, where we will have free time to have lunch (not included) then we will take the train to go to OLLANTAYTAMBO, where we will take the bus to return to CUSCO.
