The HUMANTAY LAKE is at (4200 m.a.s.l.) and is one of the most recommended tours to enjoy the beautiful landscapes that nature offers us. This hike is to prove that the altitude is not an obstacle to visit places in our Peruvian highlands.
Itinerary
The day starts very early, we pick you up from the hotel between 4:00 to 4:20 a.m. together with our guide and the group we will make a 2 hour trip to the town of Mollepata where we can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. After breakfast we return to our vehicle and continue our trip to the town of Soraypampa where we will begin our hike.
We will walk for approximately 2 hours until we reach the Humantay Lagoon, we will enjoy beautiful views and we will be able to take the best pictures, then we will return to Mollepata where our lunch will be waiting for us. After lunch we will start our return trip to Cusco. We will be arriving to Cusco around 18:00 p.m.
