The tour of the Sacred Valley is a full day tour and is highly recommended because we can enjoy beautiful landscapes such as snow-capped mountains, imposing places created by our ancestors as Pisaq, Ollantaytambo also known as the Living Inca City and the traditional handicraft area of Chinchero.
Itinerary
The day starts with the pick up from the hotel between 8:30 to 8:45 a.m., our first stop will be the Archaeological Center of Pisaq where we can appreciate the beauty of the Inca architecture, with our guide we will visit the most important places, then we will go to the town of Pisaq where we will walk through its traditional craft market and take the opportunity to do some shopping.
Then we will go to Urubamba where we will enjoy our buffet lunch in a traditional restaurant, continuing with our adventure our next stop will be Ollantaytambo also known as “The Living Inca City” as it still retains the Inca urbanization. We will tour the Archaeological Center and learn more about the Inca culture.
We return to our tourist transport and on our way back to Cusco we make our last stop at the Chinchero Handicraft Center where we will be shown how natural wool dyeing is done.
We are arriving to Cusco around 19:00.
