Lares trek to Machupicchu 4D/3N

The Lares trek is a good option to know beautiful landscapes, we will meet some Andean communities, we will find on the way some villagers, children who speak Quechua, we will be able to interact a little with them with the help of our guide, after our adventurous walk on our last day of the tour we will visit the Wonder of the World Machu Picchu.
Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO – CUNCANI – YANACOCHA – SONDOR
We will pick you up from your hotel and then travel for approximately 6 hours to the beginning of the trek, we will make a stop in the town of Calca to visit the local market and have breakfast, in this place you will be able to buy groceries that you may have forgotten. We suggest you buy some extra bread or snacks to hand out to the children you meet on the hike. Then we will head to the village of Cuncani which is the starting point of the trek.
This day we will be able to see some herds of llamas, alpacas and we will have impressive views of the landscape and you can appreciate some typical Andean communities of the village of Cuncani, we will arrive to Yanacocha place where we will enjoy lunch.
After lunch we will go to the first camp which will be in the village of Huacawasi will ascend for 5 to 6 hours, there you will meet the rest of the team (muleteers, cook and horses that carry our camping equipment) can explore the place. We will spend the night.
DAY 2: SONDOR – HUACAWASI C’ASA PASS- YURAQ COCHA – MANTANAY – PUKARA
After a good breakfast, we ascend to the highest point of our trek, the Huacawasi Pass at 4500 m.a.s.l. It will be an uphill hike that lasts approximately 4 hours. We will be accompanied by an emergency horse and will have views of huge mountains. We will walk at high altitudes and the summit can be very cold, after reaching the top we will descend and have views of beautiful lagoons and we will stop for lunch.
After having had a well deserved rest we will continue descending and we will be able to observe queñuas trees typical of the Peruvian Andes, we will pass through the heart of the Mantanay Private Conservation Area and we will be able to appreciate the flora and fauna of this wonderful natural area.
We will continue descending until we reach the second camp in Pucara, where we will be able to visit a famous hummingbird sanctuary, we will be able to appreciate many species of these beautiful specimens, the campsite will be only meters away from the place and we will spend the night.
DAY 3: PUKARA – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES
You will wake up among birds songs of the area and after a good breakfast you will have the option to revisit the famous hummingbird sanctuary, then we will be picked up by our transportation to go to Ollantaytambo on the route we will have some stops to appreciate Inca terraces. Then we will have lunch and then take the train to Machu Picchu.
DAY 4: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Our most awaited day, we will wake up early to go to our impressive wonder of the world MACHU PICCHU. We will take the bus and travel for 25 minutes to reach the entrance, we will have a guided tour of its main sectors, after the guided tour we will have some free time to take pictures.
We will return to the town of AGUAS CALIENTES, where we will have free time to have lunch (not included) then we will take the train to go to OLLANTAYTAMBO, where we will take the bus to return to CUSCO.
