Cusco of Dreams 8D/7N

DAY 1: TRANSFER IN – CITY TOUR (IN THE AFTERNOON)
Upon arrival in Cusco, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel of your choice.
In the afternoon between 12:45 to 13:00 we pick you up from the hotel to start the CITY TOUR, our visit begins with the CATHEDRAL OF CUSCO, KORICANCHA, after these two visits we continue with the archaeological centers around the city as SACSAYHUAMAN, QENQO, PUCA PUKARA and TAMBOMACHAY. Our day will end around 18:30 pm.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY TOUR
After breakfast, we will pick you up between 8:30 to 8:45 am to start with the tour of the SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS where we will visit the archaeological center of Pisaq, the handicraft market. We will continue the trip to Urubamba where we will enjoy our delicious lunch. Later we will go to Ollantaytambo, known as the living Inca city.
In the evening we will take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes or also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, where the staff will be waiting for us and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU TOUR
This day we will visit one of the Wonders with our guide, who will pick us up from the hotel. We will take the bus to Machu Picchu and start the guided tour. At the end of the tour we will return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon we will take the train back to Poroy where our transportation will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 4: MARAS AND MORAY
In the morning around 8:45 am pick up from the hotel to start with the tour of the day, our first stop will be in the archaeological site of Moray, a set of circular terraces used by the Incas; then we will visit the Salt Mines “Minas de sal”, consisting of more than 5000 wells. We will be returning to the city of Cusco at 14:30 approximately.

DAY 5: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
The day starts very early, we pass by the hotel between 4:15 to 4:30 am, in our mobility we go to the community of Cusipata where we will enjoy our buffet breakfast, after breakfast we travel for 1 hour more to the point where we will start the hike, we will walk for 2 hours approx. upon arrival the guide will give us the information, we will have time to enjoy the scenery and take beautiful pictures of the memory.
After enjoying the scenery we will return to the transportation to go back to Cusipata where we will enjoy a buffet lunch, after lunch we will return to Cusco.
We will be arriving in Cusco around 17:30 pm.

DAY 6: SOUTH VALLEY
The tour starts with the pick up from your hotel between 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. Our first stop will be at the Archaeological Center of Tipon, place where we can appreciate the hydraulic works of the Inca period, after the guided visit we will go to Pikillaqta, an archaeological center that gives us history, beautiful landscapes and a spectacular urban organization. Our last stop will be the Temple of Andahuaylillas, also known as the Sistine Chapel, in this temple we will be able to appreciate magnificent works of art, Cusquenian murals of the XVI and XVVII centuries. After enjoying this beautiful place we will return to Cusco.

DAY 7: HUMANTAY LAKE
We pick you up from the hotel between 04:15 to 4:30 am and begin our journey to the town of Mollepata where we will have breakfast, after breakfast we will continue our journey to the town of Soraypampa. At this point we will begin the hike uphill for about 2 hours to the lagoon, upon arrival we will appreciate the beautiful scenery and a guided tour. We will have some free time to take pictures and then descend to the starting point and return to Mollepata where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch we return to Cusco.

DAY 8: TRANSFER OUT
According to your flight schedule we will coordinate the transfer time to the airport.
