This tour is known for the combination of landscapes, we will know a masterpiece of Inca hydraulic engineering in the archaeological center of Tipon, in Pikillacta we will observe the Pre-Inca constructions that corresponded to the Wari culture. We will also enjoy beautiful paintings of the colonial era in the Temple of Andahuaylillas also known as the Sistine Chapel of America.
Itinerary
The tour starts with the pick up from your hotel between 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. Our first stop will be at the Tipon Archaeological Center, where we can appreciate the hydraulic works of the Inca period, after the guided visit we will go to Pikillaqta, an archaeological center that offers us history, beautiful landscapes and a spectacular urban organization. Our last stop will be the Temple of Andahuaylillas, also known as the Sistine Chapel, in this temple we will be able to appreciate magnificent works of art, Cusquenian murals of the XVI and XVVII centuries. After enjoying this beautiful place we will return to Cusco.
