Choquequirao Trek 4D/3N

DAY 1: CUSCO – CAPULIYOC – ROSALINA BEACH – SANTA ROSA
At 4:30 am we pick you up from the hotel to start our adventure, we will travel for 4 hours to the town of CAPULIYOC, on this route we will be able to appreciate beautiful views of the natural landscapes, valleys, mountains and snow-capped mountains. We will meet our team (muleteers and horses) and we will organize ourselves to begin the journey.
Then we will begin to walk to PLAYA ROSALINA, place where we will have our lunch, on the way you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Apurimac canyon and the snowy Padreyoc, then ascend for about 2 hours to our first camp in SANTA ROSA, here we will spend our first night.

DAY 2: SANTA ROSA – MARAMPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO
After a good breakfast, we begin our hike, this day we will walk uphill for 2 hours to the town of MARAMPATA, we will enjoy the natural landscape, then we will go to the impressive Archaeological Center of CHOQUEQUIRAO, we will have lunch and then have a guided tour, during the tour we will know the sectors such as: the palaces, the water sources that were used for ritual functions, the temple, the agricultural terraces, the section of llamas and among others. After our tour we will go to our camping site.

DAY 3: CHOQUEQUIRAO – CHIQUISCA
After having enjoyed our breakfast, we will return to explore the Archaeological Center of CHOQUEQUIRAO to take the last views of this impressive place. Then we will head to the community of MARAMPATA to enjoy lunch, after which we will continue with a 3-hour descent to the APURIMAC River. And finally we will ascend a hill to CHIKISKA Camp, where we will spend the night.

DAY 4: CHIKISCA – SAYWITE – CUSCO
After enjoying our breakfast, we start the ascent to the CAPULIYOC pass. From this place we will be able to appreciate the last views of the APURIMAC Canyon and the mountains, we will continue the hike for 2 hours more to CACHORA where we will enjoy our lunch. After lunch we take our transportation and head to the archaeological site of Saywite where we will have some time to explore the place. Finally we will return to Cusco, we will be arriving around 8pm.
