Cusco – Machupicchu & Lake Titicaca 8D/7N

DAY 1: TRANSFER AIRPORT – HOTEL / CITY TOUR
After coordination, the agency staff will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel, where you can rest for a while.
In the afternoon between 12:45 to 13:00 you will be picked up from the hotel to start the CITY TOUR; on this day we will visit important places in and around the city of Cusco. The places we will visit are: The Cathedral of Cusco, The Qoricancha or also known as the “Temple of the Sun”, then we will continue with the Archaeological Center of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. The tour will be ending around 18:30 pm approx.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. to start the day’s activities. Our first stop will be at the Archaeological Center of Pisaq, we will visit the buildings of the Inca period, Pisaq is also known for its picturesque craft market where we can take the opportunity to do some shopping. Then we head to the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch; then we continue with the visit of Ollantaytambo also known as “The Living Inca City”.
In the evening we will take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where the staff will be waiting for us to transfer us to the hotel; upon arrival at the hotel we will meet the guide who will give us the indications for the visit of Machu Picchu.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU
The day we were waiting for has arrived, together with our guide we will go to the bus station where we will board a bus to get to the Historic Sanctuary, upon arrival we will go through the control and start our guided tour of Machu Picchu, after the visit we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon we will board the train to Poroy station where our staff will be waiting for you and transfer to the hotel in Cusco.

DAY 4: CUSCO – PUNO “ROUTE OF THE SUN”.
In the morning we will go to the bus station to enjoy a spectacular trip to the city of Puno, stopping along the way to visit the following tourist attractions.
The Chapel of Andahuaylillas, known for the beauty of its murals and works in gold leaf, The Archaeological Complex of Raqchi also known as the temple of the God WIRACOCHA, after visiting these two places we will stop to enjoy a buffet lunch, continuing with our tour we will go to the Lithic Museum of Pukara. In the afternoon we will be arriving in Puno at 16:30 pm approx. Upon arrival our staff will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 5: UROS – AMANTANI
In the morning after a delicious breakfast we will go to the port to take the boat and start our adventure; during the tour our guide will give us information about Lake Titicaca, the first stop will be at the Floating Islands of the Uros where we will learn about the customs. Later we will take the boat and head to Amantani Island where we will have a warm welcome from the families of the community. Tonight we will sleep in the house of one of the families.

DAY 6: TAQUILE – BUS PUNO – CUSCO
This day we say goodbye to the family to continue our journey to the island of Taquile, after 40 minutes by boat we will arrive to the island, in this place we will enjoy a walk observing landscapes.
After a traditional lunch we will return to Puno where we will take the bus back to Cusco.

DAY 7: BUS STATION PICK UP – FREE DAY
Upon arrival at the bus station, we will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel, where you can rest, this day you can enjoy the city of Cusco.

DAY 8: TRANSFER HOTEL – AIRPORT
At the scheduled time you will be transferred to the airport.
