Machupicchu & Rainbow Mountain 6D/5N

DAY 1: TRANSFER IN – CITY TOUR (IN THE AFTERNOON)
This day we pick you up from the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. In the afternoon between 12:45 to 13:00 we pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the Plaza de Armas where our tour will begin. This day we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, the Qoricancha or also known as “Temple of the Sun” and some archaeological centers located on the surroundings of Cusco as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY
After you have enjoyed your breakfast, the agency staff will pick you up at the hotel between 8:30 and 8:45 am. Together with the guide and the rest of the group we will start the tour of the day, the first place we will visit is Pisaq known for its Inca constructions and we will pass by its handicraft market where we can take advantage and do some shopping. Then we will go to Urubamba where we will enjoy our delicious buffet lunch. Then we will go to Ollantaytambo where we will learn a little more about the Inca culture.
In the evening we will take the train to Machupicchu town or also known as Aguas Calientes, where the staff will be waiting for us and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU TOUR
At the coordinated time together with the guide we will go to the bus station where we will take the transportation to the entrance point to Machu Picchu, the bus ride will last 30 minutes. Upon arrival we will go through the check point and start with the tour, the visit of Machu Picchu will be for 2 hours and 30 min. approx. After the visit we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon we will take the train back to Poroy, where we will wait for you and transfer to the hotel in Cusco.

DAY 4: MARAS AND MORAY
Between 8:45 to 9:00 am we pick you up from the hotel and start our trip to the Archaeological Center of Moray, in this place we can appreciate a set of circular terraces that were used in Inca times. We continue with our tour and we arrive to our second stop, the Salt Mines of Maras or also known as Salt Mines, this place is composed of more than 5000 wells. We will be arriving to Cusco around 14:00.

DAY 5: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
The day starts very early, we pass by the hotel between 4:15 to 4:30 am, in our mobility we go to the community of Cusipata where we will enjoy our buffet breakfast, after breakfast we travel for 1 hour more to the point where we will start the hike, we will walk for 2 hours approx. upon arrival the guide will give us the information, we will have time to enjoy the scenery and take beautiful pictures of the memory.
After enjoying the scenery we will return to the transportation to go back to Cusipata where we will enjoy the buffet lunch, after lunch we will return to Cusco, we will be arriving to Cusco around 17:30 pm.

DAY 6: TRANSFER OUT
Transfer to the airport at the coordinated time.
